About Valeria Correa Fiz

Valeria Correa Fiz is a Spanish-Argentine writer, residing in Madrid. She is the author of the story books The Animal Condition, selected for the IV “Gabriel García Márquez” Hispanic American Short Story Prize and finalist for the 2017 Setenil Prize, and There was a garden, both published by Páginas de Espuma. His poetic work is composed of the following books: The Dark Album, Winter at Untimely Hours, Museum of Losses and Thus Desire. His poetry has been awarded the 1st “Manuel del Cabral” International Poetry Prize, the 11th “Claudio Rodríguez” International Poetry Prize and the 3rd “Clara de Campoamor” Poetry Prize.
