VALERIA CORREA FIZ
Valeria Correa Fiz is a Hispanic Argentine writer based in Madrid. She is the author of the storybooks The Animal Condition, shortlisted for the IV Hispanoamerican Storytelling Prize “Gabriel García Márquez” and finalist of the 2017 Setenil Prize, and There Was a Garden, both published by Pages of Foam.
His poetic work is composed of the following books: The Dark Album, Winter at Untimely Hours, Museum of Losses and Thus Desire. His poetry has been awarded the 1st “Manuel del Cabral” International Poetry Prize, the 11th “Claudio Rodríguez” International Poetry Prize and the 3rd “Clara de Campoamor” Poetry Prize.
Some of his stories and poems have been translated into English, Italian, Hebrew, German and Romanian.
He has coordinated the Reading Club of the Cervantes Institute of Milan for more than ten years. He teaches creative writing workshops in Madrid and Milan.
