This workshop proposes an approach to the narrative techniques of four brilliant short story writers: Amy Hempel, Lorrie Moore, Alice Munro and Flannery O’Connor. Its main objective is for participants to put their own writing into practice and to dare themselves with new expressive forms. It also aims to equip participants with tools for reading and analyzing short forms.

The workshop sessions will consist of two parts. In the first part, the selected writers' stories will be analyzed together. In the second part, work will be done on the participants' own texts.
